What sets Leland's apart from the competition? 

A quick elevator pitch would go something like this; "Leland's stands apart from competition because we deliver with the service of "small" with the solid warranty of "large". Leland's is local. 

Most other big name brands in the shed industry are out of state corporate companies who hire local contractors, who have no care for quality, no care for customer service, and who have no intention to be here for the long haul. In fact we see them from time to time, set up dealerships for a couple of months and suddenly they are gone. Leland's has chosen rather to build it's brand in a solid way, one town at a time. 

Leland's is building slowly, steadily, with the intent of long term presence. Big enough to handle whatever your storage needs may be but not too big to care. 

How is rent-to-own different from financing? When you get a rent-to-own (we will refer to RTO from here on) building, versus a financed one, the customer has no obligation to continue making the payments if he/she gets in a financial bind later on. So if you get an RTO building from Leland's and 6 months later you realize you are over leveraged, you can simply call in and have your building picked up and your payments stop. If you quit at anytime this does NOT hurt your credit (financing DOES NOT work this way) and if you call in to cancel your rental and later you need another building you can order another one and for being upfront on your first one you will not even hurt your credit/relationship with Leland's. 

Does Leland's do Rent-to-own for on-site builds? No. Sometimes customers say, "I know company x offers financing on site builds." Financing and RTO are not apples for apples. 

Does Leland's provide Rent-to-Own on carports? Rent to Own is not the standard procedure in the carport industry but Leland's understands how urgent it is to get vehicles, RV's and for that matter all your "stuff" out of the sun, rain and sometimes hail, that we are willing to go beyond the industry norm and WE DO OFFER RTO on carports!   

Does the carport price include installation? Another reason to buy from Leland's. Yes the carport price does include the installation price. Leland's understands that "kits" are too complicated and most folks may not have even the basic tools required for the simplest carport installation. 

Do I need a permit? Most times yes and most counties require the home owner to get their own permit. Leland's will gladly provide customer with the building plans that the permiting office may require in order to issue a building permit. Each permit office has different requirements and we will do our best to assist you. 

How long does it take to get a shed or a carport? This may vary depending on the time of the year but on average 3-5 week lead time is to be expected. 

Does Leland's provide site prep and concrete work? Lelands does not provide site prep and concrete work for sheds or carports. 

What is the warranty on sheds/carports? Leland’s Industries LLC provides a Five-Year Limited Warranty, Valid on Lofted Barn, Garden Shed, Utility, Low Barn, Cottage, Cabinette, Gazebos & Horse Barns. (Not valid on Log Cabins or carports). 

Leland’s Industries LLC warrants to the original purchaser that your Leland’s Industries LLC product is free from defects in material or workmanship upon delivery, and will repair or replace any components that do not provide reasonable service under normal use, for a period of five (5) years from date of manufacture. Correction by repair or replacement of materials or workmanship of your Leland’s Industries LLC product, which our examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to be defective, shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of Leland’s Industries LLC under this warranty. In order for this warranty to be valid, all exposed surfaces must be resealed every 18 months (proof of sealer purchase required) and properly maintained. Leland’s Industries LLC shall not be liable for any installation or re-installation costs or for the natural characteristic of some wood to split, warp, or twist. For further warranty information please ask your local dealer for a complete warranty copy. 

Does Leland's offer free delivery? Free Delivery offer is valid on all orders within 50 miles of the nearest Leland's location. Previous purchases are not eligible for adjustments. After 50 miles from your nearest Leland's location a charge of $3.50 per mile applies. Delivery also includes leveling the building on the ground with up to 5 concrete blocks. It is NOT a problem for the pressure treated runners to be in contact with the ground. Additional concrete blocks will be charged at a rate of $5 per block to be paid to delivery professional at time of delivery. Important notice! Some competitors require the homeowner to provide ANY blocking, this can turn into a very frustrating, last minute, and "we think" unnecessary hassle for the homeowner!
